Duties and Responsibilities:
* Acts as the primary customer and USG stakeholder interface for cyber security, anti-tamper and other systems security engineering topics
* Chairs the T-100 ITS program cyber security working group
* Analyze and/or develop and document engineering requirements and capabilities across the acquisition life-cycle to identify critical components, critical information and critical function in systems architecture, design, testing for relevance to technical capability and mission success.

* Research and develop security and protection plans to test, validate and certify the handling of critical program information (CPI) and critical components through the system life-cycle.

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of 10 years in depth knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices including hardware, software, information systems, cyber security, Program Protection and Anti-Tamper solutions is desired, with a focus in system security engineering
* Military fixed wing, high performance aircraft development or modification experience.

Summary of Position:

The Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for the Strategy and Roadmap for Security technologies. Law Enforcement Security Screener

Performs a variety of physical security and screening duties related to providing for the security and protection of the people, property, and operations of the Federal Reserve Bank. Key Activities:
* Utilizes effective customer service to protect lives and property through implementation of Department processes and procedures related to the operation of screening points.
* Operates threat detection equipment, including x-ray screening machines, handheld metal detectors, and walk-through metal detectors to screen for, and identify, dangerous or prohibited objects/items.
* Screens and verifies identification of people for appropriate entrance authorization through use of access control systems and detection of fraudulent forms of identification.

The Public Safety Officer II will have a more comprehensive understanding of the CCTV system. Extensive radio communication among the officers and dispatch to effectively respond to calls of service.

Essential Job Outcomes & Functions

30% – Patrol Community Hospital of Long Beach (CHLB) campus in order to assure a safer, more secure environment for our employees, physicians, patients and guests.

20% – Completion of all assigned reports, daily logs and required forms in order to assure timely and complete documentation of Public Safety department activity for CHLB..

10% – Report all CHLB campus safety violations, violence related situations, fire responses or other accident related incidents or criminal activity in order to assure a continued flow of information.

10% – Each public saftety officer will conduct his/herself in a professional manner, consistent with the authority of the job.

15% – Maintain knowledge, skills, and ability to perform all assigned computer functions within the command center in order to assure continuous service to the medical center for ID badges, surveillance and parking system, as well as, clerical software.

15% – Provide high quality professioanl services to employees, patients, physicians and guests in the medical center in order to assure a continuous flow of information in and out of the command center to all appropriate security personnel and emergency agencies.

Perform all other duties as required.

Job Specific Competencies:

Patrol procedures, timely response to calls for service, radio proficiency, key control, completeness of reports, daily logs and forms, reports safety violations, fire response, criminal investigations, remain at assigned posts, enforce and adhere to policies and performs age specific duties. Knowledge of the WPS system, MCM/Checkpoint system, PictureLink system and clerical software, monitoring of surveillance cameras, calls to outside safety agencies for emergencies, monitoring of all alarms, guest relations, patient/physician/employee complaints, appropriate dress according to department policy, wearing of ID badge and performance of basic clerical duties.

Minimum Requirements / Work Experience

6 months to 1 year working as a Public Safety Officer, security officer preferably in a hospital setting, Military, or equivalent, experience preferred. Excellent guest relation skills required. Computer literacy required

Education / Licensure / Certification

This job requires a valid California Driver License and good driving record. valid state guard card. A baton permit, pepper spray permit, and BCLS are all required within 90 days of hire.
