Qualifications

Basic
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred
At least 7 years of experience with OBIEE

o exposure to design, modeling and build of RPD
o expertise in performance tuning of OBIEE reports and RPD

o ability to dragonize performance issues and fix them
Good experience with Informatica
o Has the ability to design and build mappings

o Understands dimensional modeling and related concepts
Knowledge of general data warehouse and BI concepts
At least 3-4 project implementation of Enterprise Analytics like Financial Analytics, Project Analytics, Procurement and Spend Analytics etc.

Knowledge of Oracle EBSs GL, AP, AR dimensions and parameters of Analytics in the domain are desirable
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Analytical skills

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Business Process Technology Consultant

Vision Point Systems is hiring for an entry-level Business Process Technology Consultant position based in our Reston, VA location. We are seeking candidates with 0-2 years professional experience.

This is both a customer-facing and technical position. The candidate is expected to be expert with using computer systems including use of web-based applications, databases, and mobile apps. The candidate must enjoy working with clients, team members, and managers to analyze, document, and implement business processes using cutting edge software tools. A technical degree is not required, but the candidate must have had some training, classwork, or professional experience with computer science, programming, data structures, or other related topic.

Candidates must have completed or will be completing a Bachelors degree by December 2017. Any degree path will be considered as long as the candidate has the requisite technical classes or experience.

Work will primarily be performed at our office in Fairfax or other client offices in the DC area. Some occasional travel outside the area may be required.

Duties

– Participate as a member of a cross-functional consulting team to design, implement, test and support Business Process Management (BPM) Systems.
– Produce design and requirements specification documents based on the results of interacting with clients, building prototypes and analyzing performance.
– Develop Business Processes using BPM tool.
– Test BPM processes developed by self and peers.
– Support and Troubleshoot deployed production systems including investigation of problem reports.
– Assist project team and customer technicians with enterprise systems integration designs, such as database, web services, LDAP/Active Directory.

Requirements
