The Position
* The District Sales Manager will have territory (ND, MN, IA, the majority of SD, NW IL and NW WI) responsibilities for a specific geographic area including selling Overhead Door and Genie products to distributors, dealers and end-users.
* This position reports to the Central Regional Sales Manager.
* You must live in territory within easy access to an airport; there are no relocation dollars available.

The Case Specialist is responsible for case coverage as assigned and working with the surgical team to insure that quality care is given to the patient. The Case Specialist works with the surgical team members in providing clinical product assistance to the Surgeon by being familiar with the surgical procedure, instruments, supplies and equipment. Prepare and provide appropriate instrumentation and supplies during surgery, prepare and maintain a sterile field before and during the surgical procedures, anticipates the needs of the surgeon intra-operatively, appropriately plans and prepares to meet those needs. Also provide a safe working environment in the operating room for the patient and fellow team members, maintain all instruments and equipment used during the procedure and is accountable for all items on the sterile field during the surgical procedure.

Position Responsibilities Acquires and maintains current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practice and hospital policies and procedures.
Demonstrates competence in assisting with surgical procedures and acts as a cohesive member of the operating room work team and demonstrates appropriate interactions with all hospital service providers.
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment and implements interventions based on the plan of care as developed by the surgeon and as appropriate to the type of surgical procedure.
Perform the assembly and preparation of sets/kits for surgery including Quality Control audits of sets/kits.
Perform maintenance of instrumentation and equipment and assembles and checks equipment and supplies pre-operatively and communicates needs to circulator prior to bringing patient in room.
Assists in maintenance and care of surgical instrumentation and troubleshoots equipment according to standard procedure.
Pulls hospital consignment sets from shelf.
Moves loaner sets from hospital receiving dock to Central Sterile.
Checks in sets and extras at Central Sterile.
Verify properly cleaned/sterile surgical sets/kits.
Sets up trays with inventory that will most likely be used.
Provide intra-operative clinical product support.
Responds to clinical product issues as they arise during surgery.
Documents implant use from surgery.
Ensures that 100% of received inventory and returned inventory matches with shipping documents.
Reconciles inventory/usage as well as missing inventory.
Collects products and delivers to Central Sterile.
Obtains purchase order number for the hospital and invoices the customer.

FUNCTIONING FACTORS

Knowledge: Requires advanced knowledge of surgical and/or clinical techniques.

Problem Solving: Determines surgical procedures and techniques to follow and draws conclusions and makes recommendations.

Discretion / Latitude: Works under minimal supervision, direction given by the Sales Representative or District Sales Manager. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. May provide direction to the Field Inventory Associate.

Impact: Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in significant impact on patient, customer surgeons and operating room staff, Sales Representative concerning case coverage, scheduling requirements, or surgical instrumentation clarifications. Interacts internally with field sales staff and field inventory staff.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor Degree and 1 year operating room experience
OR
Associates Degree or Graduate Certificate in a Life Science or Technical Discipline and 2 years of operating room experience

Desired/Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Spinal and/or Orthopedic surgical instrumentation is preferred.
Basic Anatomy and Pathology of the spine is preferred.

Position Description

Responsible for making field sales calls, soliciting orders, selling assigned Medtronic Spinal and Biologics products and representing the company in accordance with its policies and in the assigned territory; for maintaining an awareness of local competitive conditions and for reporting back promptly to the district manager.

Patient Service Specialist – Full Time – Chicago, IL (Beverly)

Basic Summary of Position:

Individual is responsible for the clinical administrative functions of patient intake, scheduling, and registration, and clinic based activities required to ensure accurate billing and clean claims. Individual is also responsible for assisting Licensed Clinical Staff in assisting patients, maintaining overall cleanliness of the clinic, and ensuring clinic equipment is in working order. Strong customer service and computer skills are necessary for this role. The individual must communicate in a friendly and professional manner with patients, clients, and ATI employees. Bilingual skills are preferred in certain clinic locations.

Essential Functions:

1. Maintains a friendly and welcoming relationship with all patients and clients, including among others, physicians, physician office staff, attorneys and nurse case managers.

2. Clearly communicates with all ATI staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and

courteous manner.

3. Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients per customer service guidelines.

4. Schedules new patients and collects all necessary information in order to verify insurance with carrier and accurately and completely enters patient information and demographics into computer system.

5. Submits patient insurance information to CIV in a timely fashion to ensure benefits are verified before the patient’s initial evaluation.

6. Obtains and tracks all necessary authorizations and pre-certifications as required by payors.

7. Provides patients with an explanation of their benefits and thoroughly answers all questions.

8. Accurately completes all items on the Front Office Daily Checklist in accordance with established timeframes.

9. Provides specified patient care activities under the on-site supervision of a licensed clinician, unless otherwise prohibited by state statues.

10. Utilizing the Clinic Checklist / Maintenance Log, completes tasks of daily back office duties, weekly cleanings and monthly cleanings, maintaining overall cleanliness and neatness of clinic. Turns in the checklist/log at the end of the week for Clinic Director signature.

11. Utilizing the Risk Management Checklist completes daily tasks of ensuring safety of the clinic and clinic machinery.

12. Completes review of clinic charges to ensure all required information is present. Completes the coding edit process until all edits are clear. Posts charges according to established timelines.

13. Accurately reports visits and referrals via InSync on a daily basis in accordance with established

timelines.

14. Works all assigned InSync queues on a daily basis to ensure all errors are corrected and requests are responded to in a timely fashion.

15. Accurately processes patient payments through the online payment application, forwards appropriate documentation to the CBO, and ensures patients receive a receipt for their payment.

16. Tracks Medicare Plan of Care completion and ensures we obtain physician signatures on all necessary documents.

17. Efficiently and accurately uses office equipment, including fax machine, copier, scanner, and computer.

18. Prepares professional written and electronic correspondence to individuals within and outside of ATI.

19. Provides on-site or remote support for other clinics as requested by management.

20. Organizes supply closet and orders supplies as needed.

21. Accurately accounts for all hours worked.
