A current career break of two or more years
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in a STEM field
Minimum of 4 years of relative professional experience

The Cardiac and Vascular Group brings all of our cardiac and vascular businesses together into one cross-functional, collaborative operating unit to employ the full breadth of our talent, technologies, products, services, and solutions to address the needs of customers and patients across the globe.
The Diabetes Group is working with the global community to change the way people manage diabetes. Together, we will transform diabetes care by expanding access, integrating care, and improving outcomes; so people with diabetes can enjoy greater freedom and better health.
The Minimally Invasive Therapies Group strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive surgical solutions.
The Restorative Therapies Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.
We will have open roles within Research and Development, Quality, and Operations.
Research and Development, R-D:
You will be an important contributor to our intellectual property portfolio and generate novel ideas and product concepts.
You will act as a subject matter expert and use advanced experimental design methods to execute test protocols and reports.
You will meet with physicians at conferences, roundtables, field visits to enhance your understanding of the customer challenges and enhance innovation.
As R&D Engineer you will collaborate with people inside and outside Medtronic to identify vendors and partners for the development work.
Quality and Operations:
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Summarize and draw conclusions from test results leading to effective technical resolution of process problems.
Disposition non-conforming material requiring advanced process/technical knowledge.
Perform detailed Root Cause Investigation of failed product or processes using various quality tools. Implement corrective and preventative actions.
Work with Production, Manufacturing/Process Engineering, R&D, and Regulatory departments to resolve process issues and implement changes.
Apply knowledge of process control tools, statistical sampling, and other
