Sr. Principal Facility Engineer (48-53)

The facility engineer schedules, estimates and coordinates facilities projects relating to the installation, relocation, and modification of plant utility systems, machinery, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop technical specifications for assigned projects.
* Establish construction budgets and timelines.
* Schedule and coordinate work by outside contractors to ensure adherence to specifications, safety practices, building codes and project schedules.
* Prepare estimates, schedules, purchase requisitions and appropriations requests for assigned projects.
* Assist in planning for future expansion, rearrangements, repairs and rehabilitation of existing facilities.
* Participates in analysis of infrastructure design engineering problems and proposed solutions.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast paced, ever changing environment. The ability to interact with different departments and employees at all levels is essential.

* PE Certification is highly desired.
* 10 plus years of applicable facilities experience in a manufacturing or test cell environment.
* Understanding of process piping, cooling water, HVAC and high pressure natural gas delivery systems.
* Familiarity with industry standard construction practices and building codes.
* AutoCad experience a plus.
* Experience with industrial fire suppression systems.
* Bacheloru0027s degree with emphasis in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction technology or related technical field.
