PSG is looking to add a Product Manager to the team in Minneapolis. The Product Manager for Fisdap (www.fisdap.net) and Recert (www.Recert.com) owns the vision and content strategy for these unique digital platforms.

The position is responsible for identifying potential new products and enhancements; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, and pricing; and developing marketing and sales strategies.

The position defines, builds, and launches profitable solutions and ensures the solutions are developed to the feature and price specifications that each target market segment demands.

Responsibilities
* Develop and drive an effective product development plan, implementation methodology and resourcing plan, and create business cases for new products and services.
* Determine customer needs and desires by specifying and conducting research needed to obtain market information relevant to product development and revision.
* Drive the overall execution of product lifecycle management including strategy, development, launch, and maintenance as part of a cross functional business team.
* Identify and respond to market needs for product enhancement and versioning. Own the long-term product development plan, including enhancements and innovation.
* Support and facilitate the development and full implementation of go-to market plans, by working with cross-functional team members and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with Instruction Designers and Project Manager to create a product plan, with particular attention to customer and market, content and asset requirements, and interdependencies.
* Coordinate pricing for products and solutions in consideration of the strategy to ensure profitable growth.
* Serve as the go-to product and solution expert for the frontline sales and service organizations.
* Prepare short-term and long-term product sales forecasts to achieve financial and growth targets.
* Collaborate on internal and external product message, marketing materials, and product launch.
* Identify possible third party partners specific to business unit road map needs.

Education & Experience
* Bachelors degree in business, management, marketing, or health care related area.
* Three to five years of job experience in a product management, marketing, or product development role.
* Three years of healthcare or education experience is preferred.
* Experience developing key strategies for product-related business objectives with a demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and target products and promotions to exceed customer expectations.
* A passion for technology with a high degree of comfort with technology.
* Experience in sales, marketing, profit and loss, and a management role.

Supervisor, Quality Systems Support

Coordinates and supervises defined Quality Systems Support functions to assure continuing compliance with FDA and international cellular therapy regulations, and promote highest standards of safety for donors, patients and products. Ensures effective and appropriate implementation of NMDP/Be The Match Document Management system and processes, including document creation, revision, and approval. Oversees implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality management software system. Supervises team of technical writers and quality management software system staff.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare or communications-related discipline. Upon evaluation, a bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and 3 years work experience within a field listed above may be substituted.

Minimum Experience:

Five or more years of experience in a position which required the application of quality management systems within an FDA-regulated industry such as biologics, blood, tissues, pharmaceutical, or medical device. Experience developing and implementing SOPs and other process documents. Experience should include at least three years of experience working with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and/or Good Tissue Practice (GTP) regulations. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Upon evaluation, significant project leadership experience within NMDP may be substituted for the supervisory experience.

Key Knowledge:

Demonstrated applied knowledge of quality management systems, and US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations regarding Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Tissue Practice (GTP), and Good Documentation Practice (GDP). Knowledge of automated quality management software systems.

Key Skills:

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously; excellent oral and written communication skills; supervisory and leadership skills; highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications. A Day in the Life

Your responsibilities:

Develops strong, mutually beneficial relationships with field staff and internal business unit partners, including sales reps, district managers, commercial/sales ops, and sales finance

Proactively partners with field by brainstorming strategies to determine the desired inventory targets; Finds creative approaches to drive inventory strategies; communicates inventory level targets and logic based on BU methodology

Possesses effective soft skills to facilitate dialogue to promote and drive action even with unpopular business initiatives

Utilizes influence management skills to negotiate with field regarding the movement of product to meet case/bulk deal demand (fill from field process) or ensure achievement of inventory optimization targets

Identifies and executes initiatives with the field to proactively reduce slow moving, short-dated, or expired inventory

Manages the process of establishing new trunk stock or consignment levels; Recommends adjustments to field inventory levels and/or negotiates par levels

Executes field inventory retrievals in partnership with the field as necessary

Partners with field to streamline co-owned processes and drive consistency across BUs and regions

Executes and reports on the field cycle count process in accordance with regulatory requirements, Medtronic corporate policies and BU Finance needs, including: communication, escalation, research, reconciliation, transactions/adjustments, inquiries and response to quarterly audits

Manages established inventory levels as dictated by business model based on factors such as statistical data, sales input, GSC strategy, and current inventory status
