POSITION SUMMARY

Job Title: Server Assistant

Reports to: Dining Room Manager

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience and any mixology courses a plus

Experience: This is an entry-level position and we are willing to train the right candidate if you are open to learning and have a great can-do attitude!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
* After guests leave, prepare dining area for next guests by removing any unnecessary items remaining at the table.
Sanitize the table, chairs/booth, and sweep the area around the tables. Take all items needing cleaning to the dishwashing stations in the back of house.
* Maintain clean tables, dishes and serve ware and prepare tables for the next guests, assisting the dishwasher during downtime and as needed.
* Notify your teammates at the Host Station when new tables are clean and available.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This role will require some physical demand including standing, walking, bending, and lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
Working in the front of the house, cleaning guest areas, interacting with customers and primarily making trips to the back of the house to occasionally work at dishwashing station.

Killer Burger Kitchen Staff for Moda

We’re looking for grill monsters & prep wizards with a happy hunger for the crush of a Moda Center rush. These are part time positions for experienced cooks who are willing to take instruction and follow the Killer Burger burger building way. Our concession stall in the Moda center is open for all Blazer games and many other special events. This is a great position for someone who doesn’t want a regular schedule. We will schedule stall shifts well in advance, and some weeks will be particularly busy. Applicants must be great team players who can keep a smile on their face when the masses descend and the mayhem ensues. You will be trained at a Killer Burger kitchen before the Moda season starts. The position pays $13/hour. Staff who work through the entire Blazer season (until sometime in Spring of 2018) and do not miss shifts will receive a .50 cent bonus based on all hours worked.

Requirements:

– some line cooking & prep experience in a commercial kitchen

– valid food handlers card

Part-time Test Kitchen Product Specialist

This division also includes Global Dairy Ingredients that sells a portfolio of value-added dairy ingredients (specialty powders, milk powder, cheese, butter and whey) and offers expertise to large international customers.

Position Purpose:

Opportunity to be an integral member of the Retail Test Kitchens by providing culinary support and delivering food knowledge, insights and expertise that represent the consumer and their viewpoint.
Primary responsibility to support Test Kitchen Team Lead in Innovation and New Product development by providing culinary direction throughout the new product development process. Secondary responsibility to create, develop and test recipes for website, social media and other consumer activations.

Product Specialist:

Understand key consumer and food trends, and apply them to new product ideas and recipes.

Support product innovation for Land O Lakes Retail Division by providing culinary and consumer perspective to:

-Product category reviews

-Concept development

-Flavor analysis

-Product development

-Product application testing

Provide cooking/baking expertise to cross-functional team.

Content development including, recipe testing, writing blog articles, etc.

Recipe development including taking corrective actions to optimize recipe formulations.

Conduct taste panels and clearly communicate information regarding testing and performance verbally and in writing.

Maintain testing sheets for completeness and accuracy.

Required Experience & Education:

BS or BA in Food Science/Nutrition/Business/Culinary or related field.

Creative, insightful and great at generating ideas and futuristic thinking.

Preferred Experience & Education:

3+ years corporate test kitchen experience.
Previous experience in product development, recipe development and testing.
