Job Description:

Will perform and report tests of all complexity levels, as defined by CLIA, on patients of all ages to assist with the routine screening, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and injuries; will interpret and correlate test results with disease states and theoretical knowledge, exhibit problem solving skills of a highly complex nature, participate in Quality Assurance, Quality Control monitoring, instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting. May be required to perform phlebotomy and specimen processing duties and will participate in research, development, education, and technical consultation.

Education Qualifications:

Graduate of a four-year degree program in an accredited school of clinical laboratory science, or equivalent discipline.

Licensure/Certification
Qualifications:

Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP), Medical Technologist (ASCP), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (NCA) or equivalent is required within one year from the date of hire.
Meets CLIA guidelines for the complexity of laboratory testing.
As of July 31, 2010 current BLS is required within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect will receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus, subject to repayment if the employee voluntarily terminates their employment with XPO Logistics within the first 6 months.
Bonuses are subject to all applicable taxes. All other rules governing this program will apply.

A $750 retention bonus will be paid to those eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 6 months of active employment with XPO Logistics in their current qualified position. Eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 12 months of active employment in their current qualified position will receive another $750 bonus.

What youll do on a typical day:
