Required Skills and Experience:

* Outstanding customer service skills
* CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
* Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
* Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
* Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Accounting/ Energy Manager

Resource Energy Systems (RES) provides highly customized energy management solutions to many of the worlds largest commercial real estate companies. At RES we develop and implement energy strategies that reduce expenses, minimize risk and generate profitable revenue streams. These strategies include energy procurement, providing redistribution calculations, conducting sustainability analysis/reporting and other key energy related services.
The Accounting/Energy Manager is responsible for leading a team of analysts and supporting all aspects of energy redistribution and services for their portfolio of clients. The role encompasses a detailed and analytically driven framework revolving around energy calculations and accounting. As part of the management team, the Accounting/Energy Manager has the unique opportunity within a dynamic environment to shape the organizations solutions and direction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Energy billing calculations on behalf of our clients for electric, gas, solar, water and HVAC for tenants within our national footprint of real estate.
Ensure the satisfaction of all clients and their tenants by providing a superior level of service.
Preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and settlements.
Mentoring, training and supervising a team of three to six analysts.
Monitoring and analyzing departmental workflows to develop efficiencies while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Ad hoc Reporting in response to client specific requests, including sustainability analysis, energy trend analysis and procurement reporting.
Special Projects which may include metering, utility system analysis and property utility allocation analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Energy, Engineering, Computer Science or similar analytical discipline, preferred.
3 5 years of supervisory experience.
Strong leadership, teamwork, organizational, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
Ability to compile and consolidate multiple analyses into client level consolidated reports.
Previous related work experience with knowledge of energy calculations, sustainability concepts or commercial real estate experience preferred.
Proficient in using MS Excel to combine and analyze data from various sources, and generate reports and graphics. Must be able to combine large volumes of data for consolidated reporting.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interface with all levels within our clients organizations.
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management, project management and follow through skills.
