The Food attendant monitors and tends to the breakfast and evening buffet, ensuring an attractive presentation of the food and a clean surrounding area.
* Cook Breakfast and Dinner menu items for the day
* Sets up the buffet before guests begin arriving for breakfast. Displays the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner.
* Cleans area around buffet by wiping, sweeping and/or mopping. May clean off tables prior to guest arrival.
* Sets out plates, cups, bowels, utensils and napkins for guests to use.
* Prepares coffee and/or tea by established standards.
* Keeps juices and other perishables such as butter and yogurt chilled or on ice.
* Frequently checks for low food supply. Efficiently replenishes with food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed.
* Maintains cleanliness of buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food area as necessary.
* Properly disposes of used plates, utensils, napkins and/or cups as necessary.
* Removes and disposes of leftover food at end of breakfast shift. Cleans buffet area according to established standards. Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next days shift.
* May keep daily or weekly records of foods used and consumed.
* May be responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed.
* Greets guests and accommodates special requests as needed
* Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
* Follows company policies and procedures.
* Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.

Experience

Preferred
* Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the food and/or hospitality industry preferred.

Administrative Assistant – Part Time / AM

Standard

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages front desk, schedules appointments, book conference rooms, order lunches, order supplies, sort mail, coffee/beverage
ordering and inventory and keeps phone directory up to date.

Greet persons entering establishment, determines nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.

Provides information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services
provided.

·

Greets all of our customers, suppliers and visitors in a professional and courteous manner announcing their arrival to the appropriate department.

·

Assists in duties to plan meetings and other Company-related functions. Answer telephone and gives information to caller or routes caller to appropriate person. Handles e-mail communication similar to telephone communication and information.

Provides a variety of secretarial, clerical and administrative duties to support the office.

·

May maintain information and prepare reports as directed. May perform special projects or develop materials as assigned.

·

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

All Caregivers of Westmont Living communities are key team members, maintaining full accountability for fulfillment of the mission of Westmont Living at their respective communities. This position is responsible for the well-being of assisted living residents on services. This includes assisting residents with activities of daily living. Caregivers must exemplify and promote Westmont Livings Service Standards of safety, friendliness, a homelike setting and efficiency at all times.
All Caregivers are responsible for assisting residents on a daily basis with basic tasks such as, but not limited to: assisting with personal laundry, serving meals, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing, undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan. As needed Caregivers will be responsible for responding to emergency signals/call systems and be able to assist in the event of evacuation.
In order to be considered for a position with our premier community we seek a candidate that possesses the following:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
Must have passed post offer health physical, TB test and drug screen.
Must have current basic first aid, or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
Completion of state specific required training, completed in mandated time frame.
Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or bend for numerous or long periods of time
Able to lift 50 pounds and push, pull, or transfer 100 pounds.
Must be able to speak, read and understand English
Able to work with residents in a respectful, compassionate manner
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the service needs of our residents, this can include weekend shifts.
