A Day in the Life

In this exciting role you will:

Manage projects that can range in scope from low complexity to large scope. Project types may include quality and change initiatives. .

Own, manage, and track project deliverables and independencies ensuring task completion by cross-functional team members.

Manage detailed scope, schedule, budget, risk management and trade-off data and accompanying tools to help Program Management maintain project status and value proposition alignment.

Exhibit strong project leadership skills including, but not limited to, critical path definition, optimization, monitoring, and management to ensure the most efficient time-to-market metrics are obtained. Identify and track business critical performance indicators that tie to development site and business strategies.

Identify key stakeholders, understand their expectations, and maintain appropriate tools to execute effective communication plans throughout the life of the project.

Maintain clear forms of project communication that can be used throughout various levels of the organization, ranging from individual project contributors to senior leadership.

Exhibit strong technical and quality expertise including, but not limited to, traditional standard project management techniques within a regulated medical device environment. Provide advice and mentorship to project team members and less-experienced engineers.

Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.

Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.

Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.

Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.

May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

– 2+ years quality engineering experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

Direct experience in a regulated industry.

-It would be ideal if you also had the following experience:

-Direct experience with 21CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 and Quality system requirements in other geographies.

-Ability to work independently; self-directed with self-managed supervisory reviews to ensure tasks align with the overall project strategy.

-Ability to lead teams comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, negotiating; planning and organizing teamwork; ability to address difficult situations; conflict resolution; resource constraint and problem solving. Strong written communication skills.

-Technically savvy; must be able to discuss and understand decisions regarding a wide array of engineering disciplines and complex technical/logistical issues.

-Strong and broad skills using the tools and techniques of Project Management.

-Master’s degree in Engineering and/or scientific discipline, or MBA

-PMP Certification
