PCT Non Certified

Standard

U.S. Renal Care is looking for a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for our dialysis facility. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides hemodialysis therapies to patients in chronic renal failure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Clean, disinfect, and rinse dialysis machines according to protocol.
* Obtain pre and post treatment weights of patients per protocols.
* Safely initiate, monitor and terminate dialysis treatments and properly document per center protocol.
* Mix acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.

REQUIREMENTS:
* High school graduate or equivalent
* Confirmation of the ability to distinguish all primary colors
* Prefer a minimum of 3 months in dialysis healthcare or phlebotomy experience or CNA experience
* Successfully complete USRC training program within 8 weeks of hire
* Must obtain National certification within 18 months of hire.

Patient Care Technician
State Specific Board of Nursing Requirements
Maryland

* Must possess current Certified Nursing Assistants Dialysis Technicians (CNA-DT) certificate from Maryland Board of Nursing
OR
* Hired at USRC location recognized by state of Maryland as an approved dialysis technician training program and obtain Maryland CNA-DT certificate within three (3) months from date of hire OR
* Out-of-state applicant must have active BONENT certification and provide proof of initial application for CNA-DT certification.

Ohio

* Must have Ohio dialysis technician intern certificate at time of hire
OR
* Hired at USRC location recognized by state of Ohio as an approved dialysis technician training program and submit application for Ohio dialysis technician intern certificate to board no later than four (4) weeks prior to completion of the approved training program.
* Must obtain Ohio Board of Nursing Certificate (OCDT) not less than twelve (12) months and not later than eighteen (18) months of enrolling in the USRC OCDT program.

New Mexico
* Must have New Mexico dialysis technician certificate at time of hire
OR
* Hired at USRC location recognized by state of New Mexico as an approved dialysis technician training program and obtain New Mexico state certification within six (6) months of successful completion of training program
OR
* Out-of-state applicant with active state or national hemodialysis certification must apply for New Mexico state certificate within three (3) months from date of hire.
* National hemodialysis certification is not required in New Mexico.

California

* Must possess current Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) certificate from California Department of Public Health (CDPH) at time of hire
OR
* Hired at USRC location recognized by state of California as an approved dialysis technician training program and obtain California state certification (CHT) within six (6) weeks of successful completion of training program.

Healthcare Project Manager (Non IT)

Standard

Manages the development and implementation process of company’s projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on delivery of new or existing internal/external programs and/or products. Plans and directs schedules and budgets. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery and monitors for continuous improvement. Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget. Interfaces with internal and external customers on technical matters and project status. Responsible for assembling a project team, assigning and monitoring work of team members and providing guidance and leadership.

Responsibilities:

* Works on extremely complex projects (or multiple projects) spanning across business areas where analysis requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.

* Able to impact beyond area of responsibility.

* Ensures strategic direction of projects is in line and designs strategies for alignment with Company and business unit goals and objectives.

* Consults and makes recommendations to senior management on significant issues.

* Knowledge encompasses entire scope of company products, functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures.

Qualifications

* Ability to interact with all levels including senior management and influence decision-making.

* Proven ability to determine key business issues, develop effective action plans and implement to successful conclusion.

* Ability to operate at a strategic business level and fully incorporate business strategies within all projects.

* Generally requires Masters degree or equivalent and 8-10 years of experience.

Clinical licenses strongly preferred.
