Position description
Assists in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and receives written and/or oral assignments and direction. Communicates/collaborates with care team members to provide coordinated, safe and compassionate care for patients. Utilizes information to continuously improve patient care and practice to enhance outcomes. Assist in the delivery of patient care.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent required within one year of hire in addition to the nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) or completion of one quarter/semester of clinicals and currently enrolled in a nursing program. Six months patient care experience in acute or long-term care facility preferred.

License or certification
Basic life Support (BLS) certification required and must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
