Licensing Tech 2

Standard

The Licensure Analyst ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules and board policies in determining eligibility for licensure. In addition, they provide professional level support directly to licensing boards. The Analyst is considered to be the subject matter expert regarding the licensure laws and application process. They give advice to licensees and other individuals or groups concerning licensing, laws, rules, regulations and policies. The Analyst also evaluates applications, records, and documents in order to determine license or examination eligibility.

The Licensure Analyst completes complex processing of documents and/or transactions for assigned organizational unit. They use information technology including MLO according to accepted procedures and established policy.

The Licensure Analyst acknowledges receipt of complaints within 7 working days and documents the complaints in MLO software. They mail the requests for documents within 10 working days of receipt of the complaints. In addition, the Analyst will establish an agenda for the Professional Practice Committee to review the complaint cases for processing.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or Associate degree in a related field and one year of related experience OR High school diploma/equivalent and three years of related experience in an Administrative environment.

Must have advanced skills in computer technology using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, and Access).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Associate’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR university AND One year of related experience OR Three years of related experience OR One year of experience at the lower level (RCT010) or position equivalent.

JUVENILE CORRECTIONAL OFFICER 1 – MACON YDC

Standard

Under supervision, maintains custody and security of prisoners and other incarcerated offenders and maintains order in correctional institutions and other places of detention. Enforces all institutional policies, rules, procedures, and regulations. Enforces rules, regulations, and state laws necessary for control and management of offenders and the maintenance of public safety. Escorts offenders in transit and during temporary leaves. Guards facility entrances in order to screen visitors. Handles and trains canines for tracking, search and rescue, guard duty, detection of contraband. Inspects, inventories, maintains physical control of, logs keys, tools, weapons and related equipment. Maintains order, discipline, and security within assigned areas in accordance with relevant rules, regulations, policies and laws. Observes conduct and behavior of offenders to prevent disturbances and escapes. Oversees offenders during work assignments, meals, and recreation periods. Patrols assigned areas and report any problems. Prepares admission, program, releases, transfers and other reports. Responds to emergencies. Takes offenders in custody and escort to locations within and outside of the facility. Transports offenders to and from correctional facilities.

NOTES:

1. Applications for JCO 1 positions will only be considered with accompanying passing test scores. If an applicant for a JCO 1 position has a 4 year degree from an accredited college or university OR a current POST certification they are EXEMPT from having to take the Accuplacer test and do NOT have to provide a SAT or ACT test score. However, the applicant must provide a copy of the degree or POST profile with their completed application. This position is eligible for a Military Salary Incentive. This incentive is for current/former service members who have served on active duty.

SAT: 430 Verbal; 400 Math
ACT: 18 Verbal; 16 Math
CPE: 75 Reading; 75 Math; 75 English
Compass: 70 Reading; 32 Writing

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED AND any combination of training and experience which would enable the applicant to meet the minimum standards of the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (P.O.S.T.).

Merchandiser – Macon Market

Standard

Summary: Stocks and displays merchandise on sales floor of retail stores to attract attention of prospective customers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (additional responsibilities may be assigned)

Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, on floor.
Accurately, consistently and safely follows directions, is involved in manually lifting and placing cases or bottles of wine and spirits throughout the day. Prepares, constructs and maintains product displays according to schematics, directions and standards.
Maintains updated account information for all assigned accounts and uses the information to plan and execute the day. Has the necessary POS needed for the day on the truck, returns unused POS to the warehouse promptly.
Maintains all administrative work in a neat and legible fashion. Copies key personnel on market conditions, refused displays and other customer issues.
Presents promotional activities and suggestions to customers as instructed by the company. Surveys the account for merchandising opportunities. Have all current sales support sheets available for opportunities to improve Republics representation in the store.
Submits daily activity report and merchandising reports. Prepares and maintains required paperwork, reports and records. Reports competitive activity and pricing as it occurs to immediate supervisor.

Spanish bilingual abilities preferred. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, in addition to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished (in written, oral, or diagram form) and to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Computer Skills: Not Applicable.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Requires a current state driver’s license; ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements; alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state (i.e. TABC License Texas).

Other Requirements: Ability to regularly operate a motor vehicle; ability to work overtime when needed.
