Development – Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an innovative, experienced and highly motivated individual to lead the opening of our new offices from approval to patient ready. This position plays a critical role in our company growth in an exciting and dynamic fast-paced environment.

You will play a critical role supporting the Development Department growth strategies and work alongside a professional team of site representatives and project support staff to contribute towards the new office opening goals, reporting directly to the Director of Design & Construction.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
* Complete responsibility for managing multiple simultaneous successful new office openings.
* Lead three or more Project Managers in technical, leadership and professional development.
* Develop and implement project proposals and contract administration process with contractors, suppliers & vendors for each project.
* Manage the office design, project cost, schedule, change management and quality assurance program.
* Building strong relationships with internal teams, preferred contractors, vendors and suppliers.
* Establish and execute best practices, template, polices and tools to ensure successful completion of project milestones.
* Work on special projects, component projects or key strategy initiatives for Development department.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
* Completion of one of the following: Associate degree and ten years related work experience OR bachelors degree and seven years related work experience.
* Extensive knowledge of building construction, building design and project management methodologies.
* Strong leadership skills, self-motivated, organized, detailed and works well in a team environment.
* Ability to work well under pressure on multiple projects, tasks and prioritize personal workload.
* Practical project knowledge in scheduling, cost, contracts and change management principles.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* High level of maturity, personal drive, and sound judgment.
* Ability to travel 1-3 times on monthly basis.
* Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders and lift 50lbs.

Desirable Qualifications:
* Project Management related software experiences.
* Experience in dental and healthcare design & construction
* Knowledge and/or Certifications in project management methodologies.

Heartland Dentals Client Administrator team works to create alignment and a high level of communication between the operations regions they support and our Home Office in Effingham, IL. You will support daily operations through customer service, supported office business analysis, and remote training and coaching. You will play a key part of supporting doctors and teams by providing them with critical support so they can serve patients.

To give you an idea of the team structure, you will support the offices of one operations region within the organization, working on a team of fellow Client Administrators and reporting to a Client Administrator Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
* Assist the Client Administrator Department with a wide variety of customer service and operational support matters relating to supporting dental offices and field administrators
* Support the vision and mission of Heartland Dental to positively impact regional and company goals
* Contribute to the departments success by focusing on our key performance indicators; schedule audits, office calls and hunt line calls
* Build partnerships with the Practice Managers of Operations (PMOs) and supported teams by sharing best practices and proven Heartland Dental systems
* Support the field operations team by maintaining a strong focus on schedules
* Create excitement and motivation by developing and implementing regional and company patient care focused challenges
* Facilitate communication with PMOs to resolve patient disputes in the respectful and consistent manner
* Build strong partnerships with other Home Office departments to maintain alignment and communication
* Maintain a working knowledge of Heartland Dental reporting to quickly identify strengths and opportunities for the region and the organization
* Support the region in attaining their yearly growth and contribution margins

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
* Completion of one of the following: five years of customer service experience OR associate degree and no less than two years of customer service experience OR Bachelors degree
* Strong customer service skills and problem-solving skills
* Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to answer telephone calls and communicate information to callers
* Ability to interact with co-workers in a collegial manner to accomplish common tasks
* High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment
* Ability to travel 4 times per year for meetings and occasional training

Responsibilities

Position Description and Expectations : Due to anticipated growth over the next three to five years, Heartland Dental must add highly specialized talent. We are looking for an individual that can advance Heartland Dentals compliance program through forward thinking, a positive attitude and customer-service oriented manner. First year responsibilities include the following:
* Establish collaborative relationships with the Legal, Employee Relations and Operations functions
* Establish personal and professional credibility and trust, gain respect and build confidence within and outside of the organization
* Evaluate the current compliance program and establish a 3-5 year Compliance Roadmap in consultation with external resources

This position has strong visibility with Heartland Dentals executive leadership team, board of directors and stakeholders.

In this position, you will work closely with a peer group including, Vice President, Deputy General Counsel; Director of Employee Relations and Paralegal Services, Director of Dental Insurance Administration and reporting to the Executive Vice President, General Counsel

While relocation to Effingham, IL is preferred, candidates in the St. Louis area will be considered. Travel to the support office located in Effingham, IL three to four days per week for onboarding and training will be required, with periodic visits to Effingham thereafter.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
* A Bachelors degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare organization, including demonstrated leadership. Familiarity with compliance, operational, financial, quality assurance and human resource procedures is a must.
* Flexible team player who is professional and service-oriented at all times.
* Ability to collaborate well with colleagues and attorneys
* Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
* Ability to proactively identify and analyze potential compliance issues, and to develop creative and business focused advice and solutions
* Be fully accountable and able to exercise sound judgment
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to travel within the U.S., as needed (occasional to moderate travel)

Desirable Qualifications:
* Significant experience in an in-house compliance or legal function
* D. from an accredited law school and member in good standing of State Bar (Illinois preferred)

Primary Function : The Corporate Compliance Officer will report directly to a member of the Senior Leadership team and oversee the Corporate Compliance Program, functioning as an objective business partner that reviews and evaluates compliance issues within the organization in alignment with company goals. Install a strong commitment in yourself and others to uphold our mission, vision and core values while providing a world class customer service experience at every point of contact with offices, team members and vendors.

Act as a channel of communication to receive and direct compliance issues to appropriate resources for investigation and resolution.

Manage the day-to-day operation of the Compliance Hotline and program to ensure compliance issues are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.

Design, implement and continuously improve compliance training for Heartland Dental employees and supported dentists to increase employee awareness and knowledge.

Partner with external resources to develop a compliance survey, program evaluation and risk assessment to identify potential areas of vulnerability and improve the compliance programs effectiveness.

Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies and procedures in accordance to federal and state laws for general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

Creating reporting on a regular basis, and as directed and requested, to keep the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and senior management informed of the operation and progress of the compliance program.

Collaborate and coordinate with the Employee Relations Department, corporate attorneys and other departments as appropriate to proactively identify compliance issues and direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution.

Oversee compliance reviews or inquiries involving government agencies, legal entities or dental insurance carriers.

Support the company through special projects.
