The Position:

We are looking for a high energy Diesel Mechanic to join the team at our Hauling location in Aberdeen, WA. Previous waste experience would be a huge plus!

The Mechanic is responsible for:
* Mechanical repairs to all Waste Connections vehicles, to include independent diagnosis and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems, brake repair and replacement.
* Welding and vehicle-washing associated with the above duties
* Driving, loading, unloading, and operating various collection vehicles, forklifts, and/or other vehicles in order to facilitate job duties
* Operating vehicle in accordance with all DOT, OSHA, state, and federal requirements
* Safety of vehicle and equipment
* Operating various types of electrical diagnostic equipment, overhead crane, forklift, electric and gas welding equipment, etc.
* Completing vehicle documentation and all paperwork related to repair orders
* Maintaining the truck shop workspace, keeping it neat and free from debris
* Completing special projects for Supervisor as assigned, and assisting other shop personnel as needed
* Following all appropriate safety guidelines and precautions, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times
* Performing other duties as assigned
* Maintaining regular and predictable attendance

Knowledge of:
* Applicable operating procedures and safety practices for refuse collection
* Applicable federal, state, and municipal statutes, rules, regulations, and policies related to refuse collection

Skill in:
* General and advanced repairs of vehicles, to include light, medium, and heavy vehicles
* Safe and efficient use and care of hand tools and other equipment involved in vehicle repair processes
* Interpersonal interaction, positive attitude, excellent teamwork, and leadership

Ability to:
* Quickly understand and adhere to safety requirements of this position
* Provide training for other employees as required
* This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
* This position requires ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of previous experience performing general mechanical repairs required

Minimum Level of Education: High school diploma or GED

Driving Requirements:
* Valid class B commercial drivers license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
* Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
* Ability to meet all DOT requirements

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
* Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
* Work environment may be indoors in a shop, or outdoors to repair trucks on the road. Usually well-lighted and ventilated. Sometimes necessary to work in awkward or tight positions and to handle greasy or dirty tools. These factors require following basic safety precautions.

Job Duties:

You will need to make outbound calls to jobseekers pertaining to joining our remote work-at-home job board to find employment.
You will need to post classified job ads on a daily basis of 450 ads per day. You will need to be highly proficient with copying and pasting data from various web formats.
You need to be able to use our 3rd party mail client to send a minimum of 300 emails out per day pertaining to our email marketing campaigns that we offer customers.
You will need to be proficient on how to use Microsoft Excel or spreadsheet documents and create a log sheet for data.
You will need to be able to test out and approve working url links pertaining to various job data information.
You will need to be able to make a weekly collection of new and approved remote job positions to submit for pre-screening and review by our HR Dept.
You will need to be able to be highly proficient utilizing social media sites such as: Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc. You will need to be able to post job ads daily to social media sites.
You will need to be able to send our various email marketing campaigns and capture data and convert the information into a spreadsheet.
You will need to be able to proofread and edit job ads, documents, letters, emails etc.
You will need to be able to micro-manage a small team of EMS agents – recruit, train and answer direct questions.
Pre-screening new remote job opportunities

Requirements:

You will need internet, computer, cellular and/or lanline with unlimited long distance calling plan.
Ability to work 40 hrs. + per week as needed, Monday – Friday with the flexibility to work on some Saturdays. We are closed on Sunday normally, however you have the ability make-up any work missed.
Your start time will be no later then 9:00 AM daily until you able to finish your daily tasks assigned. You can always work a split shift if you have appointments, errands or even school functions.
Being very reliable and self starting is a big plus +.
Highly organized and a team player.
Pay close attention to details and ask questions if needed.
Excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation and editing skills
Administrative and clerical skills is a big plus +.
Ability to place outbound phone calls to businesses or jobseekers on a weekly basis.

Compensation:

$15.00 per recruited agent that joins Mommy Jobs Online that becomes an agent or a lifetime member. In addition, HR Personnel agents will be compensated a rewarding bonus structure for business email marketing campaigns that ranges from $5.00 – $20.00 per sign up. HR Personnel average salary is $500.00 + per week based on the agents work production and commissions earned.
