The Pipeline Technician Trainee is an opportunity for an individual to obtain the training and experience necessary to become a qualified Pipeline Technician on the Enterprise Crude Oil System. This position will provide a readily available and qualified individual to accommodate future manpower needs throughout the system.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Be assigned to a location within the Company to undergo orientation and training for a period that is normally 9-24 months in preparation for a future Pipeline Technician position.
* Participate in various training courses.
* Receive on-the-job training; working alongside various plant and/or pipeline personnel.
* The training will include safety procedures, regulatory requirements, handling of hazardous and highly volatile materials, mechanical and electrical equipment repair/maintenance, AC and DC electrical systems, electronic/pneumatic controls, calibration of various electronic and mechanical devices, crude oil measurement, crude oil storage tanks and various other systems that are related to the crude oil industry.
* Develop and/or complete reports related to the above listed activities.
* Upon successful completion of adequate training, must be willing to relocate within a multi-state or designated regional area to fill a Pipeline Technician position, when an opening occurs.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

* A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
* Vocational-Technical certificate or an Associates degree in electronics or related field is preferred.
* Must have experience in basic computer use including the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and email software.
* Previous experience with, and knowledge of, preventive and corrective maintenance of various types of equipment is required.

* Must have a valid drivers license.
* Must successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements; including, but not limited to criminal and employment background checks, DOT drug screen, basic math and / or mechanical aptitude assessments, and interview process.
* Great team player who interacts his/her effectively with co-workers, customers and the public, whether in a group or in independent cooperative activities.

* Good communication abilities (verbal and written) and desire to represent the Company effectively will result in excellent service to customers and the community.

* Must be able to quickly learn and become proficient with new skills, technologies, procedures and processes.

Civil Engineer

Position Summary:
Knowledge of Industry design codes especially AISC, ACI, ASCE, ASTM, and BS
Be fully conversant with seismic and environmental analysis theory design fundamentals and construction methodology
Understand above ground installation (AGI) designs covering launcher and receiver stations and block valve stations (BVS)
Direct the development of and review all civil and structural design drawings; including site specific designs, layouts, and typical details
Experience in engineering and design to minimize filed installation and commissioning activities
Capable of assessing conceptual solutions to civil structural engineering problems and improvements within the social and economic constraints
Knowledge and experience in the engineering of structural supports for vessels, packaged equipment, large rotating equipment, and pipelines
Able to identify issues, problems, and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask assistance if required
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups
Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity

Extensive technical and practical experience in discipline engineering
Roles & Responsibilities:
Analysis and Design of structure and equipment foundations to static and dynamic loading
Analysis and Design using engineering software such as STAAD. Pro, Foundation 3D, etc.
Preparation of Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Material take offs, Scopes of Work, Technical reports, Inter discipline design coordination and supervision
Competent in preparing design calculations for steel and concrete structures
Liaise with Designers in the preparation of CAD drawings, typically using AutoCAD
Liaise with Designers in the preparation of structural and foundation drawings and details
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or closely related engineering degree from an accredited college, university or technical school.
An active Texas PE license.
8-10 years of qualified engineering experience.

Diesel Mechanic/Shop/Road

Position Summary:
Diesel mechanics repair trucks, buses, and other equipment. They also diagnose problems with diesel powered engines, inspect, repair, or overhaul anything with a diesel engine as well as keep up-to-date records. This position involves in shop repairs as well as road service repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections/diagnostic tests; identify worn and damaged parts.
Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
Comply with federal/state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshoot breakdowns; maintain supplies; perform preventive maintenance; call for repairs.
Contain costs by using warranty; evaluate service and parts options.
Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications.
Enhance maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Test drive vehicle to ensure it is running smoothly.
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles.
Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attached system components.
Follow a checklist of inspection procedures
Routine maintenance to include: changing oil, checking batteries, lubricating equipment and parts.

Requirements:

Auto Technician

Position Summary
As an
Auto Technician you will be responsible for repairing automobiles, trucks, buses, and other vehicles. You will also be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, cars, trucks, and other vehicles. As an
Auto Technician you will work in service departments of auto dealerships, repair shops as an independent mechanic. They may also work for fleet operators and have their own garage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience.
Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation, tire changing, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to customer complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.
Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Confer with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
Repair radiator leaks.
Align vehicles’ front ends.
Rebuild parts such as crankshafts and cylinder blocks.
Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Repair or replace parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels.
Repair manual and automatic transmissions.
