Huntington Ingalls Industries – Technical Solutions Division, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking an Oracle Developer – Senior to work out of their Huntsville office.

The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending upon assignments and other factors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Duties will include tracing issues between Java applications and the Oracle database and resolving problems on either side. Other duties will include Unix/Linux navigation, search, file permission, shell script programming, and job execution skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication are needed along with excellent customer service skills. The applicant will be working on interdepartmental projects and interfacing with clients at all levels.
* Collaborates with technical staff to understand and to develop new solutions or the resolution of software problems.
* Use expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.
* Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, support)
* Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
* Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
* Trouble shoot and debug to optimize performance
* Estimated percentage of time spent: developing and writing code 75%, requirements review 10%, testing code 10%, and meetings 5%.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required-
* A minimum of an Associates Degree in Computer Science or MIS and 2 years direct experience in the design, development, implementation and support of custom client enterprise projects are required.
* Junior to mid-level proficiency is required in Oracle PL/SQL and Java programming with good debugging skills.
* Must have the ability to integrate Java with Oracle and analyze and interpret embedded SQL in legacy Java code to decompose/fix legacy embedded SQL.
* Oracle Enterprise Edition 2 years
* Skill sets needed include: Java, Java Server Faces, Spring, NetBeans IDE WebLogic server, Java messaging services, Oracle database, SQL, PL*SQL, and Oracle utilities such as Sql*Loader, Oracle Advanced Queuing Toad Linux shell scripting
* Able to demonstrate flexibility and cooperation in a fast paced, group environment.
* Work to be performed at Redstone Arsenal, AL

Web Service standards (SOAP, REST, WSDL, WS-I Basic Profile, WS-* extensions and standards)
* Experience with LOGSA and with logistics information systems in the areas of readiness and maintenance data processing is highly desired.
* Security:

* Must be able to obtain Secret clearance prior to start.
* All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
