Casual position to help cover all shifts, weekends, and holidays to support the staffing needs of the department.

Position description

Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including CT procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities.

Qualifications

Previous experience in Radiology required, CT preferred. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Possess a high level of knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy. Basic computer knowledge, telephone and pager system and Internet communication skills.

License or certification

Licensure/Certifications: Active Wisconsin Radiographer license. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. ARRT certification in Computed Tomograpy within 18 months of hire. Current Basic Life Support certification.

Compensation Detail

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $23.87 per hour.
